The Office (U.S.) has been accredited by many as "the best television show ever"; and since I spent many...many hours of my life watching all 9 seasons, through every brokenheart and spilled chili pot, I decided to dub myself an Office guru and tell you why it truly is the best show ever.
1. The all-too-familiar awkward humor

The incredibly awkward, yet undeniably relatable humor in The Office makes you cringe for each and every character...and also for yourself because you did the exact same thing last week.
2. The most realistic romance in television history
Because who doesn't love Jim and Pam? Seriously though, this couple definitely beats Jack and Rose any day. From their workplace fling all the way to their Niagara Falls wedding, Jim and Pam score all the points for most realistic romance.
3. Dwight.
Even though he's my least favorite character, Dwight Schrute is the fan favorite for about 90% of the rest of the world. Once you watch the first episode, you've already associated him with the most annoying person in your life and will continue to do so until the very last minute.
Sometimes, you just have to be Michael Scott.
5. The dos and don'ts of relationships
There are so many different relationships throughout The Office...some good...and some just downright awful, but each of them will teach you something in the long run, even if that's to never date a beet farmer.
6. Depicting the lighter side to a truly awful job
We've all had those days at school or work where not a single thing seems to be going your way. The Office takes the average working person, full of those days that make you think whoever is up there in the clouds must really have it out for you, and makes light of every single one. It makes you sit back and laugh at not only poor, poor Kevin, but at yourself too.
7. The "glow up" of the century
A good television show means more than a good laugh. It is incredibly demanding in today's society that a well-liked TV show offers a journey to be had by the viewers alongside the characters. For The Office, that journey is life. You will be there for everyone's triumphs and glow-ups, as well as their downfalls and bad days, and I promise you, you will never regret a single moment.
