7 Reasons You Need 'Lucifer' in Your Life

Yes, you heard me correctly. Everyone needs a little devil in their lives. Now, do not start throwing pitchforks and burning me at the stake before you listen up. Everyone needs a shake up in their lives. The mundane day-to-day of going to class and then going to work and, frankly, just being an adult in general sucks. Like, let's be real for a second. Being an adult is the worst thing in the world (well, maybe not the worst). Sometimes we need a little shake, a little in your face, a little diabolical British man to come into our lives. I repeat British. The devil is British! Lets have a moment of silence for all of the "souls" that just dropped over hearing that the devil is British.

If you haven't figured it out yet, I am not talking about the real devil because, let's be honest, if the real devil spoke, it would be with an Irish accent (I'm looking at you Mr. 2012). I'm talking about Lucifer Morningstar, who is the devil but happens to live in Los Angeles. Don't all gasp at once. It is just a television show on Fox.

Pitch forks down? Good. Now we can get on with the seven reasons why everyone should watch "Lucifer."

1. We have already talked about it. He's British.

2. The devil has humor.

3. The devil knows children.

4. His name is Lucifer Morningstar. What could be better?

5. The devil goes to...therapy?

6. The devil is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

7. The devil has the voice of, well, the devil.

Have I convinced you yet? Yes? Good. Now go catch all the episodes of "Lucifer" on Hulu and Fox Monday nights at 9/8 CST.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
