7 Reasons Why You Wish Alfred Pennyworth Was Your Friend.

Maybe this phrase was left in the "Bring it On" era, but Alfred Pennyworth is the bomb diggity. He's the perfect sidekick, no doubt. If someone asked, would you rather be Bateman or Alfred, it would be a little tough. First answer? Can I be both? Bateman is obviously great but Alfred, well, he's the underdog kind of greatness.

1. .

He doesn't take satisfaction in being right, even when it meant it hurt someone close to him. He doesn't brag about being right, he stays pretty humble about it.

2.

His kind of sarcastic humor is actually great. And honestly, his accent makes it so much better. Shoutout to Alfred for making you laugh in a not exactly humorous situation.

3.

Ever have an idea that seems to be a little bit passed the crazy end? And once you tell someone, you think, so that person may think I'm not OK. But, then there's Alfred, who would definitely understand. After all, he stayed calm and understanding after Bruce came up with Bateman.

4.

Alfred. That one person who'll always be there, no matter what.

5. .

Ever feel like once you fall down, you can't stand back up? Leave it to Alfred to be the source of wisdom. He's always there, not necessarily giving Bateman a hand, but always giving him the strength to be able to pick himself up.

6.

What a heart-wrenching moment. Nevertheless, how much Alfred cares about Bateman is admirable.

7.

When Bateman wasn't there and it was young Bruce Wayne, Alfred came in as the trusting hero, saving Bruce from fights most likely to cause serious damage to him. #AlfredIsEdgy.

If Bateman isn't your favorite hero, I'd watch it anyway. Because Alfred is the hero that's always there. #PinkyPromise.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
