1. We promise ourselves that we will have better study habits than we had the semester before, which will last about a week before we return to our old ways.
2. We promise to make sure that we get the appropriate eight hours of sleep each night, at least until we pull an all-nighter studying for an exam and our whole sleep schedule is thrown off.
3. We promise to workout at least three times a week, if not more. After all, spring break is only a few months away. This motivation lasts the entirety of syllabus week before the reality of our college schedules sink in and we can't seem to find time to fit workouts into our agendas.
4. We promise ourselves that we will eat healthier this semester, but once on campus we remember how much time cooking can take, and that pizza is on sale on Wednesdays.
5. We promise ourselves that we will keep our rooms clean and organized so that we have a nice space to study and stay focused in. The thing is, we never truly fully unpack from Christmas break and once school starts to pick up, everything else (including cleaning) gets put on the back burner.
6. We promise to not procrastinate studying for a test or finishing a project, that is until we realize that our favorite show has a new season on Netflix. Let the binge watching begin.
7. We promise to stick to our budget better; we will not spend money on a latte everyday or on vending machine snacks... or at least not as much.
