If you're anything like me, you love to dance until your feet fall off. Personally I have an entire play-list dedicated to the times I just wanna shake it out/off. So here are seven songs that will get you into the groove. Dance on my friends!


1. Lonely Town- Brandon Flowers

First, let me just say this man is a genius. The Killers front man, Brandon Flowers, electrifies with his sophomore album The Desired Effect. Lonely Town is a great start to your dance party, with lyrics you can belt out while your jammin' its guaranteed to get you and your friends feet movin' and groovin'.

2. Jealous ( I Ain't With It )- Chromeo

Chromeo has always been masters of funk, (remember Bonafied Lovin'?) this synth heavy song is filled to the brim with opportunities to show off your best disco moves. Think John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever.

If there was any other song to dance to like Drake dances to Hotline Bling it would be UGH! By The 1975. What ever these guys are selling we are all buying. UGH! Brings back memories of Duran Duran and Soft Cell. You guys remember them right? Right?

All right, so we all agree this is a throw back, and this song may just be on the list because it played at a club I was recently at, but let me tell you, every single person in the club was dancing and singing along. Therefore it earned this spot. Try and not mimic the dance, TRY!.

Utilize this song to drop hints to that hunny you've been eyeballing all night. Nothing says I'm the one for you quite like dancing to a song that says you wont treat them like they are typical.

I mean the title says it all. Just shut up and dance! That's what we are here to do! Put on your best dancing shoes, grab your friend and start dancing!

Here, I will set the scene for you: you are at whatever summer festival with your flower crown, your fringe flowing and your Polaroid in hand. You're dancing the night away when the crowd splits. Right then, you spot the most gorgeous person you've ever laid your eyes on. There stands your electric love, someone you fall in love with for a night never to be seen again.
