1. Cave in Algarve, Portugal

Located in the Bengali Sea Cave, this chain of caves along the southern coast of Portugal has captivated many travelers with its beauty and enigmatic persona.

2. Fly Geyser, Nevada, USA

This man-made geothermal geyser is located in Washoe County, Nevada. This Pixar-esque geyser is probably one of the coolest things you'll see out in the middle of a desert.But don't be fooled by the picture, this baby is a tiny geyser - reaching only twelve feet.

3. Pamukkale Thermal Pools, Denizli Province, Turkey

Located in Pamukkale "cotton castle", Turkey, these calcified thermal pools give off a mysterious front to many people since it looks like it looks like something, dare I say, out of the movie Frozen.

4. Lake Retba (Lac Rose), Cap Vert, Senegal

Pink water? Yes, the rose color of this lake in Cap Vert, Senegal is due to a type of algae that breeds here known as, Dunaliella salina. Lake Retba is also known for its high salt content, reaching up to 40 percent in certain areas of the lake!

5. Rainbow Mountains, Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park, Gansu, China

No, someone wasn't bored one night and decided to paint a mountain range in China. The Rainbow Mountains, located in Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park, Gansu, China, is a very popular tourist attraction, but how did they turn this color? Simple, over millions of years ago, layers of different rocks began to overlap each other while producing the subcontinent we all know today as India. At some point in time, there was a giant collision with Eurasia which formed the colorful mountains we know and love today.

6. Glow-In-The-Dark Beach, Vaadhoo Island, Raa Atoll, Maldives

Thanks to a certain type of bioluminescent organism called ostracod crustaceans, this beach is home to many tourists attracted to this beauty, especially at night. Most likely a great place to take a loved one...or your dog.

7. Son Doong Cave, Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, Bố Trạch District, Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam

Known as one of the largest cave passage cross-section in the world in 2009, this captivating cave makes you want to a) live in it or b) create an epic sci-fi film or an enormous cave city. Created over 2-5 million years ago, this "mountain river cave," as its name translates, is a curiosity peak for many adventure seekers. Totally a great place to go on an adventure in!
