With International Women's Day last week and March being Women's History Month, I think it's time to celebrate some of the many great woman that are alive today and show some love towards these amazing and inspiring women. Here are 7 of my favorite females who continuously inspire me.

7. "Just Between Us" (Allison Raskin and Gaby Dunn)

Not only are these two bestie goals, but they are also so inspiring and hilarious. Gaby is openly poly-amorous, as well as bisexual. However Allison has openly talked about her struggles with her mental health. They both seem so relatable. If you have not seen their videos I would recommend checking them out.

6. Daisy Ridley

Recently in the news for slamming body shamers for saying she was "too thin" and that she set "unrealistic" body standards, Daisy Ridley is one of my favorite up-and-coming female stars. Best know as Rey from "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens," Ridley portrayed a strong female character who fought her own battles and even flew and worked on spacecrafts such as the Millennial Falcon. Also look at how excited she is for the Rey figurine.

5. Amy Poehler

"Parks & Recreation" is one of my favorite shows, and Amy Poehler is the perfect Leslie Knope. Poehler is not only a funny lady, but she also runs the YouTube channel "Smart Girls at the Party," acknowledging and encouraging girls in academics. She is also promotes girl power and female friendship with all the projects she has done with Tina Fey. The duo demonstrates that not all females need to tear each other down and compete.

4. Ellen Degeneres

Another funny lady I am a huge fan of! Ellen Degeneres is one of my favorite females on television these days. Ellen always has a positive attitude and helps so many people through her show. She even ends each show telling people to be kind to one another! Another great thing about Ellen is the fact that she is apologetically herself. She came out on television and has been encouraging of people expressing themselves in unique ways.

3. Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney is a barrister specializing in international law and human rights. With some pretty high profile cases, Clooney proves she is very kick-ass. Clooney has been working towards getting recognition of Armenian Genocide, a battle that has occurred for over a century. She even paired up with 100 Lives to form a scholarship in her name, allowing girls to continue their education.

2. Michelle Obama

You don't have to like President Obama to love First Lady Michelle Obama. She went to Princeton for undergrad and Harvard for law school; if that doesn't scream impressive, I don't know what does! During her time as FLOTUS, Michelle Obama has promoted healthier habitats, such as eating better and being active. She also advocated for LGBT rights. Although she is known for her style, Obama shows she is so much more than the clothes she wears.

1. Ruth Bader Ginsburg

This last but not least, my favorite, Ruth Bader Ginsburg (aka the Notorious RBG). Ginsburg has shown to be very vocal when she believes the Supreme Court is going in the wrong direction. She has been an advocate of gay rights as well a women's rights. Ginsburg has also shown people with different political views can work well together, through her friendship with Justice Scalia. Although she is 83 years old, Ginsburg shows no sign of stopping with career or her adventures anytime soon. For me, Ginsburg is goals.

These are just a few of the many amazing woman in the world today. Comment and let me know about some of your favorite females.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
