Buying makeup can kind of be a hit or miss. Though some products and reviews esteem makeup products they don't always live up to the hype. I've found that the best way to discover new makeup products is by asking my friends what their favorites are! This is how I've found all of my staple makeup products!
Here's a list of my 7 holy grail products that I highly recommend:
1. Too Faced Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer
This is my holy grail bronzer because of the long wear and color. This bronzer not only stays on all day, but its' one of the very few bronzers that isn't too bold nor too orange. And another great bonus is that it smells like chocolate!
2. Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer
Under eye circles are a huge problem for me but this product covers them right up! Since I tend to use so much under eye concealer I make a point to buy a drug store brand. I haven't been able to find a drug store concealer with more coverage and longevity than this one!
3. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Foundation SPF 15
This foundation is unlike any other foundation I've tried before. It's the only foundation I've found that gives you a sold amount of coverage without the cakey-ness. It goes on like a moisturizer or BB cream but gives you the coverage of a good foundation. The best part about it is it doesn't even feel like you're wearing foundation!
4. Colourpop Highlighter
Colourpop's highlighters are only $8.00 and come in more shades than you could ever image! They give the perfect about of shimmer and glow! You can't beat it!
5. Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner
I have really bad allergies that are pretty much all year and therefore I have watery eyes. It's been a struggle to find liquid eye liner that won't come off throughout the day with my watery eyes, but Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner stays on all day despite that! It's also has precision with its' fine tip and an easy gliding formula!
6. Kylie Cosmetics' Liquid Lipstick and Lip Liner (Lit Kit)
I didn't believe the hype in the Kylie Lip Kits under I tried them myself. But these liquid lipsticks really do stay all on day with minimum drying of the lips! They also come in the best shade! (And a major bonus is they smell like cupcakes!)
7. Maybelline's Eyestudio Colortattoo Metal 24hr Cream Gel Eye Shadow
This is my go-to eye shadow base because it's a) easy to apply with its' gel cream formula and b) stays on all day long! I use this everyday I'm in a hurry and don't have time for an intricate eye shadow look because it only takes seconds to apply!
