Let's be real here. Having a new crush is exciting and the things we do are awkward. I'm sure we all felt like our hearts were going to explode by the small things they do for you or the way your head gets dizzy when you stand next to them. Here are some GIFS that may just explain what you felt during that time.

1. The first time seeing them.

Nothing like the first time you see them and you are instantly attracted to them. You don't know whether it was the way they smiled or the way they flipped their hair, but from then on you knew they were about to be the only thing you think of.

2. Denying you have a crush on them.

You don't want to admit you have a crush them because that would just ruin your life with all the constant teasing you'll get from your siblings and/or parents if they ever found out. So you just pretend you don't know them. Until your friends crack you down and figure out you actually do like them.

3. When he tries to talk to you.

There is nothing like the first time they talk to you. Your stomach goes in full butterfly mode, your face turns red, and you stumble your words.

4. When you tell your friends that they texted you back.

When you get the courage to finally text them. You send the message and all of a sudden you're starting to re-evaluate your life and everything you have ever done. But atlas you hear your phone buzz signally you have a message saying it's from them. So what do you do? You obviously tell your friends that they texted you

5. When you see them in the hallway and you try and act cool.

Nothing like seeing your crush in the hallway. it usually makes your day when you see them more than once. You try and dress nicely every day even though it is so tiring just for the hopes that they see you and can't stop thinking about you.

6. The reaction you get when you find out some other girls are taking a liking to your crush.

When you hear some other people talking about how attractive your crush is and how much they like them you automatically put them on your enemies list. Don't they know you and your crush are destined for each other?

7. When you stalk their social medias for any clue they may be talking about you

You don't mean to sound narcissists, but you hope every tweet, Instagram caption, and facebook post is about you. Of course, you don't follow them on every social media so you have to do some serious searching for those special posts.

In the end, you always hope they are doing the same things you are doing to you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
