7 Disney Original Movies That Need To Come Back

Ten years ago we were all introduced to High School Musical, which was probably one of the best made Disney Channel Movies to date. The film had a killer cast with some memorable songs and even better dance moves. The franchise also gave us two more wonderful movies filled with more catchy lyrics and choreographed steps. It is no question that Disney Channel has graced us with some other really good movies, and I don't know about you, but these flicks should probably have a reunion. Just saying.

1. Halloweentown

Brought to us in 1998, Halloweentown got spooky with a girl named Marnie who suddenly learned she was a witch and that there was also a town out there full of supernatural creatures. To top it off, her grandma needs Marnie's help to save the day from the evil Kalabar as she explores this never before seen world. This movie is still plays every Halloween and has three more movies to follow. Should they make a fifth?

2. Zenon The Girl of the 21st Centenary

This movie makes my heart go boom boom. This movie was probably one of my favorite movies as a kid, it even included a young Raven-Symoné brought to you in 1999. Taking place in the year of 2049, a young girl in orbit around space gets sent down to earth only to find out her space station is in danger and she has to find a way to save it. This is yet another movie that has a few more great films to continue the plot.

3. The Cheetah Girls

Cheetah girls, cheetah sister. This amazing TV movie brought the idea of keeping you girlfriends close no matter what happens. These four talented young girls try to make it big as they sing and dance through life. As the minutes roll, the four hit a rough patch, but find a way to get back together and be better than ever. No girl will ever forget those color coordinated sweat-suits that were just too cheetah-licious.

4. Cadet Kelly

This movie aired on Disney Channel in 2002 and starred no other than Hillary Duff. The plot was about a girl who was a perfect princess and was forced into a military school where she had to figure out how to fit in and find a way to get on her captain's good side.

5. Gotta Kick It Up

Here's another great movie brought to you in 2002. It is about a high school that is losing its dance team until a teacher takes up the task of teaching these girls how to dance with a little Latin spice. They find a way of all coming together to compete with the mindset of "Yes I Can".

6. Motocross

It's a hard world out there when you're a girl trying to fit into a man's sport, but Motor Crossed nailed it perfectly. The movie features a sister taking the place of her brother when he breaks his leg. While her dad is off finding another ride, she poses as her brother in other races. This is definitely a must-see Disney Original.

7.Camp Rock

Bring together our first love for the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, this movie takes play at a music camp full of very talented kids. Lovato is a kitchen worker with a great voice and is terrified of being herd by anyone else, while Joe Jonas is desperately searching for the girl that finally caught his attention, but only knows her voice and not who she is.

This is just some of the better Disney Channel Original Movies. There are plenty more that do not get enough recognition, but check these out first before you get started on The Thirteenth Year, Mom's Date With A Vampire and more.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
