30 Songs To Add To Your Summer Playlist If you Haven't Already

So there's three types of music moods/stages.

Stage one is listening to the same 15 songs over and over until they're memorized and you can't stand them. Stage two is listening to the same ONE song you loved the most from the previous 15 over and over until it's memorized and you can't stand it. And finally, stage three is getting sick of the same music so you listen to a random playlist you've never heard of and find new music to repeat the process.

I'm currently in stage 3 and I discovered the Spotify daily mixes. WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?

Here's the best of the best (it's a little bit of everything, my music taste gives me whiplash) that I've been obsessing over ENJOY.

1. Let it All Go - Birdy, RHODES

2. Connection - OneRepublic

3. broken - lovelytheband

4. Scars - Michael Malarkey

5. Dark Paradise - Lana Del Rey

6. No Choir - Florence + the Machine

7. So Tied Up - Cold War Kids, Bishop Briggs (This is a whole jam)

8. Your Body Is A Weapon - The Wombats

If anyone tells you music can't change your mood, they're wrong; just writing down the titles of these songs gave me a boost.

You should totally go follow my Spotify cause I've got great playlists (my account is jessprowell you won't be disappointed).

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
