Being the completely love-struck individual that I am, I have been thinking about the different ways people fall in love. Everyone’s love story is different but there are specific ways that each love story begins. See if you recognize any of these for your own relationship or in those around you.

1. Head Over Heels

This is when two people have been seeing each other for a while and just all of a sudden one or both are overcome with an intense emotion that they may or may not have felt before, love. It seemingly comes out of nowhere but is justified by every action that is made by the one they have fallen for. Looking back, you can always remember the exact moment you completely fell for your partner.

2. Slowly But Surely

When these people fall in love, they know they have found the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with and are certain the other feels the same way. This is a little harder to pinpoint an exact moment that you fell for the other but rather it just naturally comes over time. The moment that you do know that you are in love is the best feeling in the world because you know it is right.

3. Love At First Sight

Although I personally don’t believe in love at first sight, (I believe that lust at first sight is a thing), I’m sure there are people out there who are convinced of it. This is the kind of love where the second you see this individual, you are certain that they are the one for you and everything is going to work out between the two of you. But of course, it is not just looking that gets it to work; they must go up and introduce themselves or else it cannot turn into the relationship they wish for.

4. Cautiously

These are the people who have been hurt before and so they want to make sure that this is the real deal before they open themselves up to someone. Being as cautious as they are, when they finally do open up, they are completely trusting of that individual and they show their appreciation and love for them in everything they do.

5. Friends First

This is your classic movie plot where the two best friends are in love with each other and everyone but each other knows. When the two finally do find out and they begin their relationship, it is a easy and smooth start because they are already super comfortable with each other. All of the same inside jokes transfer over; they just might be a bit more dirty than before.

6. Enemies First

Well, maybe not enemies but these are the two that are always arguing about everything, but it is just to hide their feelings for each other. These arguments may carry over to their relationship but they have other ways to settle their disputes.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
