6 TV Shows you should apply to be on

Have you always felt like reality television was calling your name? Do you feel like you have the ability to entertain a multitude of people? Would you like to have your 15 minutes of fame? Then I have found the next thing for you - to be a reality television starts. Here are a list of shows that can jumpstart your career - keep in mind, winners from one show often get to cross paths and try other reality shows!

1. Survivor

To apply for this show, you will need an interesting tidbit of yourself that makes you seem crazy and you should also probably enlist some friends to help film your audition tape. Get ready for weeks of barely eating, bug bites and water, but there is a chance for a million dollars! You get to basically go on a vacation to an exoctic location, loose weight, and play in games (well maybe challenges) all while enjoying the baby blue shirts that the host, Jeff Probst wears.

2. The Amazing Race

Applying to this show is going to be a little tricky because you have to apply with someone you know as a duo. But think how cool it would be to get to travel the world with someone that you or may not enjoy. But if you don't enjoy them - just make them do all the gross challenges like drink ox blood, or shave their head. In the end you also can win some serious cash - and unlike Survivor, you get to eat food and sleep in a hotel.

3. The Bachelor/Bachelorette

I am completely bias but I believe this is the best show to apply for. Depending on your gender, you will apply to be on a different season. If you get chosen by the producers, not only do you get to be protrayed as a some sort of character (maybe the crier, maybe the drunk one) but you get to travel and date and fall in love! If you are a woman and you win, you will probably get a super gorgeous and expensive and free for you and your loved one, Neil Lane engagement ring. Sign me up, I'm ready.

4. Real Housewives

This show may be tricky to apply for - it requires that you live in a certain area. So if you live in Beverly Hills, Orange County, New Jersey, New York or Atlanta than your odds to be selected are infinitely higher than someone in the other parts of the United States. As a part of this show, you get to go to lunches were you get buzzed on white wine while arguing with Miss Priss about her lack of class - does it get any better? Although there is really no end goal to this show, you will rack up a huge amount of Twitter followers if you play your cards right.

5. Naked and Afraid

So take Survivor and multiply the hardness by a thousand percent and you can be on Naked and Afraid. This is more of a challenge than a game show - you are challenged to survive in some wild wilderness for 21 days. Don't worry you can go 21 days without food scientifically, and you get to bring one item of comfort on your endeavors. You will win the joy of winning, being comfortable with your body, being comfortable with another naked person, and maybe you will get to eat some fish.

6. Big Brother

Looking for a game show that stays in one place? Then Big Brother is for you! You get to spend a summer cooped up (locked in) a house with other contestants. You get free food, housing, air conditioning, pool, treadmill, possibly money, and possibly a showmance (romantic interest on tv). You get to play in multiple games, but you loose all sense of private time. Video cameras are literally everywhere and catch your every move, but you could win a ton of money and life seems pretty darn easy.

These are just a few of the marvelous shows you could be a part of. Whatever you choose - I will definitely be rooting for you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
