Finals are now finished, so now we can start getting into the holiday spirit. During this time of year, Christmas music is playing everywhere on repeat, people’s houses are decked out with lights, and everyone is running around shopping like crazy. You all think the stress is done, but this time of year can lead us to stress more. Everyone usually stresses out about gifts, presents, decorations, and finding food to eat. Money is flying everywhere and credit card bills are going up because everyone is anxious to find the perfect gift. If you’re looking to save some money for gifts this year or save money in general for the holidays. Here are some tips that can be helping you from getting into end of the year debt.

Set a budget for people and gifts

Budget's always help out when you're stuck in a money situation. Also, it helps you keep track of how many gifts you're getting for someone. It's a real retail saver!

DIY a gift instead

Making gifts are always so fun because you can get really creative. It's the perfect idea for spa essentials, decoration, or anything on Pinterest. The grinch realizes that nothing doesn't have to come from a store. Instead, it means much more.

Bake something from scratch

Who doesn't want to receive food as a gift?! I mean... it's food. Baked goods are the way to go.

Support the small stores in your area. You'll never know what you're going to find!

I love Secret Santa and it's also the best way to change up your shopping style. Whoever you get, you know you are making an impact whenever you start shopping for them. Everyone gets a gift and get's to cherish the memory. It's a special and yet a great way to bond more.
