Everyone has those days where they just don't feel themselves. With days like these, people over think the way they view themselves as a whole person, which is probably the worst thing to do. Never in anyone's life should they feel as if they aren't enough or that there's nothing about them for people to love. Loving yourself has been thought to be something really hard to do. You're the only one that can see every single one of your flaws, but this is for you to realize that there is so much more to you than your flaws.
First of all, the first person that should love you is yourself. The number one rule in life is to love yourself before you let anyone else do it. In my opinion, there are a lot of reasons why you should love yourself, because the greatest gift you could ever give yourself is self-love.
1. You are your own masterpiece.
Everyone is their own person. No one is exactly the same as someone else. This is something that should be embraced by everyone. This is your chance to truly be yourself. Being your own masterpiece means creating your own work of art within yourself, which is something no one but you can do.
2. Loving yourself makes you enjoy life more.
This is a proven fact. If you love yourself, you become more happy with the outlook of your life and how you view everything.
3. You don't have to please everybody.
It's okay if you don't please everybody in your life. If you take other people's opinions over your own about yourself, than you aren't really benefitting yourself.
4. People love other people who love themselves.
Being around someone who is very confident in themselves is a confidence booster to others. Personally, if I know someone who is extremely confidence in themselves, it gives me more motivation to be more self-confident.
5. You become a happier person.
Last but not least, you just feel happier about yourself. If you're happy with the way you feel about yourself, then it's definite that other people will be happy with you, too.
6. Your self-confidence level goes way up.
Everyone needs their self-confidence. As you become happier, these levels also rise up. When your self-confidence rises, you really don't pay attention to any other opinions, which is probably the best feeling in the world.
Putting yourself before anyone else benefits you in more ways than you think. Loving yourself helps boost your confidence, gives you a better outlook on life, and makes you a happier person. Don't let other's opinions take over yours. You're opinion of yourself is the only one that should ever matter.
