Everyone is always looking for new music. Typically, we hear a song we like on the radio or on Spotify or another similar app. Usually, we hear songs right before they become popular and then they're all over the place and get stuck in our heads for the next however many weeks. What about the songs that never become popular or that you never hear? I have a few songs that you've probably never heard or aren't as popular as some of the band's other songs.
1) "The Judge" - Twenty One Pilots
This song is off the album "Blurryface." This album also has "Ride" and "Stressed Out" on it. The Judge hasn't gotten much radio time compared to the big singles on the album, but it's a fantastic, catchy song. It's really worth a listen. Twenty One Pilots have blown up recently with the success of "Stressed Out". There are plenty of great songs on their new album and the previous ones.
2) "Gasoline" - Halsey
I love this song. It gets me hyped every time I listen to it. Halsey isn't a huge artist, but she's incredibly talented and is a fantastic songwriter. She is best known for her song "New Americana" but in my opinion, "Gasoline" is her best song. Halsey also has a few other awesome songs like "Colors", "Castle", and "Young God."
3) "Lost Boy" - Ruth B
I found this song on iTunes over the summer and fell in love with it. It's beautiful and magical. Ruth B has a wonderful voice. This is definitely her most popular song. I am forever in love with this song and Ruth B. Her first album was released in November of 2015. Interesting fact about Ruth B: She got her start on Vine.
4) "Apartment" - Young the Giant
Young the Giant is awesome. This song is awesome. It sounds similar to "Cough Syrup" if you've ever listened to it. This song is really catchy and it just sounds really cool. Young the Giant is a pretty popular band. I put this song on the list because I feel it doesn't always get the recognition it deserves.
5) "Hollow Tune" - Brick and Mortar
Brick and Mortar are a fantastic duo. It's two guys and they are awesome live. "Hollow Tune" is a very deep song when you really listen to the words. On the surface, though, the song is really interesting and one that you just want to sing every time you hear it.
6) "As We Are Now" - Saint Raymond
This song is beautiful. It's about living in the moment and enjoying life. His voice is really interesting the music is beautiful. I really love the message and the interesting sound. It's really lovely and it just sounds nice. One of his more popular songs is "Fall on Your Feet."
