Moms are always there to help you out, give you advice, and talk you through any rough patches. It's not in the annoying, follow your every move kind of way, but because she wants to know what’s happening in your life. She might be sending cute dog videos to brighten your day or because she has news that she knows that you’ll be excited about.

You can easily agree on the same radio station and John Mayer or Maroon 5 is always playing when you walk in the house. Also, she gets just as excited about concerts as you do (which is great, unless she gets tickets without you).

You can't help telling potential new friends all about the cool stuff that your mom has done. Talking about what you did with your mom one time or where you two traveled last summer just always seems to pop up in the conversation.
