6 Restaurants You Should Visit In South Jersey

We all love good food when we have enough money to go out, whether it be with your family or friends. I know I personally love going out with my friends once or twice a week to eat, or maybe even with my family. I am always up to trying new restaurants (once I've taken a look at their menus). If you live in South Jersey and are looking to try a new restaurant or two, you’re in the right place. Below, I’ve listed six restaurants I have been to and have found the food to be absolutely delicious.

1. Turning Point (American).

The Turning Point is located on Cherry Hill and Marlton. However, there are multiple other locations in New Jersey. The Turning Point is a breakfast and lunch restaurant that is open until 3 p.m. every day. They have multiple options for breakfast and lunch which makes it hard to decide what you want to eat.

2. Seasons 52 (American).

Seasons 52 is located on Cherry Hill. There are other locations throughout the U.S., but not many. This restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and is open until 11 p.m. or midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. They carry many different types of wine (if you are old enough to drink). They often have live music playing during dinner hours. One of the unique things about Seasons 52 is that all of their options are under 500 calories. Everything they have is in season, so that means everything is perfectly fresh.

3. Mikado Sushi Bar and Steakhouse (Japanese).

Mikado is located on Cherry Hill, Maple Shade and Marlton. Mikado is open until 10:30 p.m. during the week and 11 p.m. on weekends. Mikado has a variety of different types of sushi, sashimi and rolls. If you like sushi and good service, this restaurant is the place to go.

Amy’s has over 200 different omelettes, 30 different blends of pancakes and french toast, and different types of eggs. Being known for their breakfast specials, they also have salads, burgers, baby back ribs and many different dishes for lunch and dinner.

5. Nifty Fiftys (American).

Nifty Fiftys is located in Turnersville. It is open until 10 p.m. during the week and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Nifty Fiftys is a 1950's themed dinner with award-winning malts and milkshakes. They also have the world’s largest soda fountain for those of you who love drinking soda!

6. Distrito (Mexican).

There are many more places to go in South Jersey for good food. Go eat your heart out and hopefully you get to try one or all of these places one day because this food receives an A.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
