Growing up with siblings is such a blessing in disguise. Yeah they annoy the crap out of you, but for some reason you just can't live without them (except for the fact that you know, you have to). Well in my case, I have three older sisters, an older brother, and a younger brother. I have found that each of my siblings brings a different something to my life, but there is something about my little brother that brings so much joy to my life. He has such a genuine joy of life. He doesn't need a billion friends to make him happy. All he needs is his family and that always gets me. I aspire to be more like him in this aspect and other aspects (he is really awesome at sports). This is only one of the reasons why I look up to my little brother but there are oh so many more.

1. Passionate

My little brother is so passionate. I have never met an individual with so much passion for one thing. He is passionate about his sports. Football and motocross are his favorite things in life and man is he good at them. One time, my poor little bro crushed his femur during a practice on his bike, but he is so passionate that he wants to get back on his bike and ride again. Now that is passion.

2. Fearless

Why brothers are so fearless is beyond me. My little brother has absolutely no fear for anything. He could jump out of plane and not think twice. I mean he broke is leg and wants to ride again for Pete's sake! I will always be so jealous of his extreme fearless personality.

3. Dedicated

My little brother is dedicated to his work. He works so hard in everything does. Whether it is school, sports, and even helping out with out two-year old niece (playing with dolls), he works so hard. He will do anything to help out a friend or family member. And even though sometimes he doesn't want to text me back, I know he is still dedicated to making our sibling relationship the best.

4. Funny

Little brothers are so funny. I don't know where he acquired his funny bone, but man am I glad he did. He always keeps the family laughing and having fun. I could tell a million funny stories about this comedian, but I will just leave it at this: he used to dress up like a ballerina me and my sisters!!

5. Adventurous

SO SO adventurous. He is always down for a family trip to the beach, river or to go snowboarding down a mountain. He loves adventure and the thrill of doing something awesome for the first time (and becoming a complete pro at anything he tries)!!

6. Loving

I have never met someone so loving. I know that we have our ups and downs, but all siblings do. Little brothers just want to be loved by their sisters and family and they deserve just that. My little brother has such a big heart and cares so much. He has a picture of our great-grandmother on his dresser and it still melts my heart.

Ever since I went off to college, my little brother has grown up and it makes me so sad! I want him to stay the sweet little brother that I have loved for so many years. But as he is growing up, we have become so much closer and I could not be more thankful for that.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
