Sisters by chance but friends by choice, there are so many perks when it comes to having a little sister.
1. You always have someone on your side.
No matter how much trouble you may get into with your parents you at least know she's always there for you and in your corner (unless she's the one that got you into trouble).
2.You get double the clothes.
Close in age=close in size. My sister and I have reached an understanding about sharing clothes and let me tell you it's great having two closets
3. There's always someone you can vent to.
So maybe your best friend is busy while you're having a meltdown and you just need to vent. Good thing you've got a great listener that wants to know everything 5 steps down the hall.
4. You've got someone at those awkward family reunions and family parties.
Parties you were forced to go to with your parents where you didn't know anyone there were the epitome of awkwardness, but at least you've got someone that understands your level of awkward and is there to experience it with you.
5. You could be fighting but ten minutes later everything is ok.
You could be having the biggest fight of the century with her over the TV remote, but 5 minutes later you'll both be laughing over the crummy show she chose to watch.
6. You've got a live-in best friend.
It's a never-ending sleepover... just in separate rooms. My sister is always there when I need her and I love her for that.
Let’s face it, if you're not best friends with your sister, you're doing something wrong. Sure, sometimes she may annoy you or anger you, but you've probably done the same to her, so it's even right? Either way what you gain from a sister is a best friend and I couldn't be anymore thankful for mine, love you Chloe!
