The 6 Guys You Date In College As Told By 'Ice Age' Characters

Usually I wouldn't compare men to animals, but this is an exception.

Odyssey Rejects — a new Twitter account that has become very popular, very quickly. Basically, it is a parody account that tweets ideas for Odyssey articles, but they're all jokes. While reading through their tweets, I found some ideas that were actually golden and really, really funny. One of my personal favorites was "The Seven Guys You Date In College, as told by 'Ice Age' Characters." I modified it a bit and did six guys instead of seven. So, without further ado, here are the six guys you date in college... described by some "Ice Age" characters.

1. Scrat

There is a squirrel named Scrat that only cares about burying his acorn. Scrat is all over the place, frantic and anxious over the fate of his beloved acorn. Now I don't know about you, but to me, that sounds like your stereotypical frat god. The frat god is obsessed with one thing and one thing only: his frat. He loves it so much that it consumes his life. So, like the acorn is to Scrat, the frat is to the chubbie-wearin', Natty lite-drinkin', dart-throwin' college fraternity brother. My best advice: don't let the acorn be more important than you but understand that the acorn is one of the most important things in his life.

2. Sid

He is the lovable idiot that adds comedic relief to every situation. However, he can be overbearing and obnoxious with his tactics. Sid is like the friend that asks you for coffee at least every other week. He doesn't understand "no," and takes it as "she's not interested....yet." You don't want to date a Sid because he is such a good friend and it's not worth throwing away your friendship for a relationship that will more than likely not work out. But if you do date a Sid, be prepared for an ever-present sidekick.

3. Manny

Manny is the big, strong male character that appears rugged but actually has a soft side. His family comes first to him but he doesn't want you to think that he isn't the tough guy he is deep down. Manny is the classic jock that you might happen to date. If you're into the strong, sensitive type, he'll be Mr. Right for you. He is the perfect balance of grit and fluff. If you date a Manny, you will always have someone to protect you but also be the listener that you need from time to time.

4. Diego

Diego is the elusive tough guy that always seems to be hanging out with your friends. You don't really know much about him but when he does talk, he usually surprises you with his bad boy way of taking on life. Also, he is the guy that you can't help but fall for because of how mysterious he is. Dating a Diego would be hard at first because you have to break down his walls before you get to know the real him. But as soon as you do, all the work will be worth it.

5 & 6. Crash and Eddie

Crash and Eddie are the inseparable duo that literally live for getting into trouble. They are daredevils that know no limits. Anything is worth doing, especially for the story they'll get to tell after doing it. If you date a Crash or an Eddie, you might as well be dating the other one, too. Because of their need to be together 24/7, it's like a two-for-one deal. So if you're into guys with a wild side, be prepared to deal with the BFF that comes along with him. Oh, also make sure you always have a camera handy, in case the two of them go viral.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
