The 6 Emotions All "Nashville" Fans Are Feeling Now That It's Renewed

Season 5 is coming and we seriously can't even.

Earlier last month - when television shows were being cancelled left, right and three ways 'till sundown (R.I.P. "Castle" and "The Grinder") — fans of the highly successful ABC show "Nashville" (called "Nashies") lost every ounce of cool they had left when, after four seasons, it was announced that the show was also getting the boot (pun intended). Time stopped, torches were lit, pitchforks were raised, and Twitter just plain exploded. #BringBackNashville immediately began trending, while a petition on change.org quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of signatures pleading a network to "renew 'Nashville' for season five."

I was one of the many who shamelessly signed the petition and used the hashtag (I may have used it 10 or so times. again, no shame.). I mean, what was going to happen in Deacon and Rayna's marriage? Would we ever know the results of Gunnar and Scarlett's intense and unavoidable sexual chemistry, which exploded in the season four finale? What about crazy Layla? And most importantly, IS JULIETTE EVEN ALIVE?? So many questions that left Nashies everywhere screaming at their screens.

Then, news broke last week that changed everything. The CMT network knew what was good and rescued "Nashville," picking it up for a fifth season. Nashies rejoice! We have so many emotions running through our minds and bodies at the moment that we just really can't. (Can't what? Anything, we can't anything.) So allow me to attempt to sort them out for you.

1. Joy. Pure joy.

The greatest and probably most important emotion. Nashies everywhere are pumping their fists high. We once again get more drama, more music and - let's face it — more Lennon and Maisy Stella (Maddie and Daphne Conrad). Video courtesy ABC/Lionsgate.

2. Shock

We may be happy and all about the show coming back, but the end of the season four finale still has us in recovery mode. Hands down one of the greatest endings of a season/series since Lost. #IsJulietteAlive???

3. Anger

In the season four finale, Avery discovered all of Layla's crazy Jedi mind tricks proving she is just as bat $*!+ crazy as we all thought. Her sabotage of Avery and Juliette's relationship is not something we're going to let go of anytime soon.

4. Serious Closure

Now that Deacon and Rayna have their family back together, we cannot wait to see how the new dynamics between Maddie and her parents will play out, especially after that dramatic rescue.

5. Total School-girl Butterflies

Gunnar and Scarlett had the hook-up to end all hook-ups, which melted literally every organ in our bodies. Will they stay together for good this time? Or won't they? Either way, that scene had all of us doing this: Image courtesy ABC/Lionsgate

6. Just Plain Excitement

We honestly just cannot contain the pleasure in seeing how all of our favorite characters' storylines will play out as well as who will end up with who. Until season five, us Nashies will continue our unapologetic fangirling.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
