If you’re anything like me, you probably enjoy a good bacon cheeseburger every now and again. If you’re anything else like me, you have probably also eaten at one, if not all, of these restaurants. So, I now present to you, in my never humble opinion, an incredibly subjective list of the best fast casual eateries, ranked by their bacon cheeseburgers.

6. Applebee’s

The Applebee’s Triple Bacon Burger is possibly one of the most interesting burgers on this list. The burger is first seared in bacon bits, then placed on a bun, and topped with strips of bacon and a BBQ bacon ranch sauce. The burger is by no means bad, but it is also not the best. The burger:bun:bacon:bbq ratio is far from optimal, as the burger patty itself overpowers all of the other components of the burger.

5. Denny’s

Denny’s does not actually offer a simple bacon cheeseburger; instead it offers a Bacon Avocado burger, a Bourbon Bacon burger, a Spicy Sriracha burger, the Slamburger, the “build your own burger” option, or the option to add bacon to the plain double cheeseburger. So, what Denny’s lacks in flavor or actual quality of the food, they make up for in their sheer amount of options.

4. Perkins

The burgers offered at Perkins are surprisingly good, especially when it’s late at night, you’re desperately hungry, realize that you haven’t eaten anything since 10 am, and there’s nothing else open.

3. Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Five Guys offers the least amount of basic burgers, with the most amount of customization options, at the lowest price. Their restaurants are clean and sleek with good, friendly service. Plus, you can’t beat their fries (cooked in cooked in pure, no cholesterol, tasty peanut oil!), and their nearly unlimited selection of milkshakes.

2. Fuddruckers

Claiming to have the “World’s Greatest Hamburgers!”, Fuddruckers ranks second on this list of the greatest bacon cheeseburgers. High quality food, fast, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere push this towards the top of the list. Similarly to Five Guys, Fuddruckers also offers a vast variety of customization options for their burgers, but only a basic selection of milkshakes.

1. Red Robin

And finally, my personal favorite, the Red Robin Pig Out Tavern burger. Two burger patties, piled high with bacon, and topped with a bacon aioli (and campfire sauce, if you know what’s good for you), make this burger the top of the bunch.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
