I've stayed mostly silent about Warped Tour coming to an end, but since the 2018 lineup was announced earlier this month, I thought I'd give you my take on it. Warped has been a part of my life for years, whether or not I was there, and it's sad to watch the end of an era that was so important to me and the people close to me. My few experiences with the Tour were amazing and I'll remember them for a long time.

The lineup is pretty impressive, at least for my taste, but like anyone else, I was hoping to see a few more onstage reunions. Here are six bands I would've liked to see this year.

1. My Chemical Romance

I know it's stereotypical and near impossible, but I can dream.

2. A Day to Remember

This would've been pretty realistic. ADTR has had such an impact on so many bands that will be at Warped this year, so why not also have the real deal?

3. Underoath (playing all the dates)

I was so excited that Underoath is playing this year until I read the fine print: they won't be coming to a show near me. Warped just seems like something they would have deemed important enough to commit to, but I guess not.

4. Chiodos

While there is an even smaller chance of this happening than of My Chem happening, I can dream.

5.Katy Perry

A Warped Tour alum, Katy could have brought a lot of ill-fitting fans to the tour, which seems like it would have been really entertaining.

6. Stacked Like Pancakes

Because of last year's Warped Tour, I went from not knowing who these brass-wielding people were to listening to their music at least once a day.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
