A long couple of weeks of constant Netflix binges, eating whatever you want whenever you want, and cuddling with your puppy have come to an end. You're currently attempting (and basically failing) to become accustomed to the college life again. Gearing up for another semester of stress has you reminiscing about all of the wonderful aspects of break that you left behind as soon as you said your last goodbyes to your bed. Here's to a new semester full of new opportunities... to forget about important deadlines, cry about your need for an on-campus therapy dog and ignore your resolution to go to the gym.

1. How did that break go by so fast?

2. I swear, I blinked and it was over.

3. I didn’t get to finish my Netflix series!

4. Oh, well. I guess that’s what I do with my free time!

5. LOL, wait -- when do I have free time here?

6. Did I remember everything?

7. Nope. There’s no way I did.

8. How did I go home with one suitcase and come back with five?

9. I’d like to see my Calc professor explain that one!

10. Oh god. I have class. I have class tomorrow.

11. Did I order my books?!

12. Whatever. I end up using like two of them anyway.

13. At least I have my pretty Lilly planner to get me through everything!

14. Maybe this will be the semester I get a 4.0!

15. New year, new me.

16. New year, new grades.

17. I wonder what parties are happening tonight?

18. I can’t wait to see everyone!

19. I missed everyone so much.

20. Can I go to parties and still get a 4.0?

21. There goes the idea of a 4.0.

22. These beds are so uncomfortable.

23. What peasants thought a Twin XL would be manageable?

24. I miss my spacious bed.

25. And my puppy.

26. OMG, my puppy. He’s probably so lonely without me!

27. I should FaceTime him.

28. But I should probably also unpack.

29. I hate unpacking.

30. Where does everything go?!

31. These closets are too small. And my shoes need proper storage.

32. Note to self: stop buying clothes.

33. They don’t fit in this minuscule space.

34. HA. I just told myself to stop buying clothes. Probs not.

35. I wonder what my professors are like.

36. Like did I get the chill professor who ends class early?

37. Or the drill sergeant who actually takes attendance?

38. What do I wear tomorrow?!

39. I’m not a freshman anymore. I can’t try too hard.

40. I need a nice balance between prom queen and hobo.

41. Like effortlessly chic.

42. This will be the semester I go to the gym regularly! I can feel it.

43. I love wearing cute workout clothes.

44. Just not to like… workout in, though.

45. Do you think they have barre classes here?

46. Maybe I’ll become a yogi.

47. I’m starving.

48. All of the stress of moving back in has really worked up my appetite.

49. Ugh. Dining hall food? I did not miss that.

50. Do you think they have smoothie bowls here?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
