The third week of classes is in full-swing, midterms are beginning, and most motivation has dwindled away. The loss of motivation has come with increasing procrastination, and as a result, I have created a list of 50 things I would rather do than study.

1. Ride my horse

2. Binge-watch Netflix

When "just one more episode" turns into "oops, I just watched an entire season..."

3. Browse Facebook

4. Drink coffee

(Even though 99% the time I'm studying, I'm also drinking coffee)

5. Eat food

No shame.

6. Exercise

Willingness to exercise... that says a lot about procrastinating.

7. Like posts on Instagram

8. Groom my horse

9. Clean

10. Scroll through Twitter

11. Shop

"I definitely need a new pair of shoes!"

12. Bake cookies

Stressed spelled backwards is desserts.

13. Eat said cookies

14. Color

It's relaxing... until you color out of the lines.

15. Pet dogs

16. Stub my toe

17. Take a nap

Avoiding responsibilities at its finest.

18. Teach my roommate's fish tricks

19. Listen to music

20. Text friends

Bonus points if they're sitting in the same room.

21. Play in snow

22. Go to a concert

23. Organize my desk/closet

24. Read a book

Duh, not a textbook.

25. Do laundry

26. Get caught in a rain storm without an umbrella

27. Untangle Christmas lights

28. Smell candles

29. Have a Girls' Night Out

30. Wash dishes

31. Curl my hair

32. Sit in Starbucks pretending to be busy

33. Be ambushed by puppies

34. Step on a Lego

35. Paint my nails

36. Bullet Journal/Organize my Planner

This will give the allusion that I have my life together.

37. Take BuzzFeed quizzes

"I wonder what Disney princess I am..."

38. Go to the movies

39. Organize my Spotify playlists

40. Daydream about my future wedding on Pinterest

41. Take a million pictures of my horse/dog

42. Buy a hedgehog

43. Slip on ice

44. Watch old Vines

45. Sit in front of a fireplace with a blanket and hot chocolate

46. Make DIY crafts

Thank you, Pinterest.

47. Go grocery shopping

48. Walk around Target and buy unnecessary items (sorry, wallet)

49. Lay/nap in a hammock

50. Make a list of 50 things I'd rather do than study

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
