It's so easy to get caught up in all the things going wrong in your life. It has begun to become second nature for me to complain about the difficulties in my daily routine. If you asked me on the spot to list 20 things that stress me out or frustrate me I could easily spew off everything I think is wrong with my life. But when considering what makes me happy on a daily basis, my mind goes blank for a moment. I want to take a moment to really ponder on all the little, simple and sometimes silly things in my life that make me happy and at the end of the day, out weigh the negatives by a landslide.

1.Coffee

Some bad habits are for the greater good.

2. Calling my mom

I call my mom at least once a day, usually more. Even when there is nothing to say, I call her just to chat. That's my girl.

3. Being early

Something about having time to spare really pleases me.

4. Talking to strangers

I love talking to people in line or the elevator, anything beats the usual silence.

5. Surprises

No matter how small.

6. New lipstick

7. Completing a show on Netflix

A momentous accomplishment that satisfies my OCD more than anything.

8. Over-sized T-shirts

Comfort is key.

9. Hitting Snooze

10. Comfortable Silence

Nothing is better than being so comfortable with someone that you don't feel the need to fill every moment with talk.

11. Wearing a robe

I just feel like I have my life together when I have my robe on.

12. The rain

I love listening to the rain beat against the windows.

13. Kate Spade

My one true love. Even just walking around the store can make my day.

14. That new book smell

15. Falling asleep the moment you hit the pillow

16. Laughing so hard you stop making any noise at all

We all know the one.

17. Lazy Sundays

18. Sisters

Both those by blood and those by bond.

19. Having someone play with my hair

This is actually the way to my heart.

20. Payday

21. That time I went up in a tiny plane and saw my tiny town from up above

You really had to be there.

22. Those days where you just feel bomb

23. Bubble baths and showers

My happy place.

24.Random compliments from strangers

I try to do this to other people as much as possible because I know how much it makes my day when people do it to me.

25. Driving with the windows down

It's worth the knots.

26. Running at sunset

27. Making people laugh

28. Babies

From a distance.

29. The process of getting all dressed up

Begins with showering and laying in my robe for a minimum of an hour.

30. Pink skies

31. Music in the street

I love opening my windows and listening to live music playing at a near by restaurant or bar.

32. Having long conversations via Snapchat videos with funny voice filters

33. Wearing mismatched socks

34. Taking my contacts out at the end of the day

35. My pupper

36. Ranch

On everything.

37. Actually printing hard copies of photos

38. Listening to music while walking to class

39. Organizing and perfecting my playlists

In preparation for #38.

40. Watching YouTube vloggers

My guilty pleasure.

41. Candles

42. Chocolate milk

Another guilty pleasure.

43. Mirrors that are perfectly angled

You know what I mean, we all can use the confidence boost.

44. Writing

Any and everything.

Any and everywhere.

46. Re-watching shows I've already seen a million times

47. Trivia night

My team is going to win one of these days.

48. Docks

49. Sandwiches

50. LISTS

It's a beautiful world full of random, little things that can add up to become big things. We just have to take the time to notice them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
