Ladies! It's still pretty early in the year and everyone has set new goals! Many of those goals are related to health and fitness. Whether you're new to the gym or have been going for years, here are a few of my favorite women on YouTube to watch for ideas, motivation, and inspiration to keep you going!

1) Brianakfitness

Briana Shaffer is one of my favorites to follow on all social media! She's always so honest with her journey, goals, and setbacks! She makes great and affordable workout guides that you can follow, and shows a lot of her meal prep on her channel! I personally own all of her guides and I love them! I am also a member of her Facebook group and I love being in this community of women that Briana created! Her journey is incredible, she is humble, and so down to earth! I highly recommend following her and checking out her channel!

2) BuffBunny

Heidi Somers was the first fitness channel I ever watched on YouTube. To be honest, I'm pretty sure she was one of the first if not the very first channel I ever subscribed to! Heidi's story is so inspirational and it's been a pleasure to watch her channel, business, and fan base grow over the last few years! I love her clothing line and her drive to succeed in and out of the gym! She loves empowering women and doing what she can to educate her followers about exercise, nutrition, and self love! Her channel is all about her life, business, travels, and of course fitness so there is a little something for everyone!

3) hunnybunsfit

Jen Heward is everything I aspire to be! She's a strong, beautiful, and hilarious woman who always keeps it real! She's an online coach, gym OWNER, has cute apparel and is partnered with the Fitplan app! She's not afraid to try new things and act a little goofy from time to time! I love her videos where she sits down and gives advice about food, the gym, life, and pretty much everything! I love watching her snapchat stories, and her posts about her dogs! Check her out, you will not be sorry!

4) Jordan Shrinks

Jordan's story is so inspirational because she lost over 100 pounds in 2016! She is hilarious, helpful, and honest! She gives a lot of tips on things she learned throughout her journey that she didn't expect! She recently had skin removal surgery and shares a lot about her recovery and the process she went through. She also has a huge Facebook group called Jordan's Bod Squad (yes, I'm a member) and it's so fun to see other people who are going through the same journey! She shares many transformation photos on her Instagram and tries her best to share as much information as possible to motivate others! I think my favorite thing about Jordan is her confidence! Go show my goth queen some love!

5) Gracie's Journey

I have been following Gracie for a while and she also has lost over 100 pounds! I love her energy and positive attitude! She vlogs about her daily life and how she has been able to maintain her weight loss and also all the the milestones she has made within her journey! My favorite video is when she wore a bikini to the beach of the first time! I love seeing her photoshoots, work outs, and daily updates! She is inspirational, motivational, and super easy to love!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
