YouTube is not just a place to go when you want to watch funny cat videos, awesome music videos, viral videos or old scenes from your favorite shows. YouTubers are huge. In fact, a lot of YouTubers on the web have millions of subscribers. They post DIY videos, cooking videos, fashion, reviews, gamer videos or fun challenges with other YouTubers. They have tons of award shows for YouTubers too, like the Streamys, Shorty Awards, and YouTube festivals like, Vidcon. These YouTubers have gone on to create their own merchandise, book movie and acting roles, write books and start worldwide tours. They have become celebrities in their own right and it has become a full-time paid job. Now, however, YouTubers are going one step further. They are vlogging their everyday life for their fans to get a deeper look into their lives. I've narrowed down my top 6 for you all to check out.
1. Roman Atwood
He started off as a huge prankster with his videos hitting over a billion views. In 2013, he decided to launch his vlog channel where he shared candid videos of his two adorable sons, his girlfriend Britt, and the rest of his family. His channel now has over 9.5 million subscribers. He has a huge company called Smile More where he had to build an entire factory because there were so many demands for his merchandise. He got down with his second world tour and he even won awards and was featured in a movie.
2. Alfie Deyes
He goes by Pointless Blog and he also posts videos with his girlfriend, Zoe, his adorable pug, and his sister. He has his own merchandise that consists of notebooks, phone cases, key chains, hoodies and shirts. He has 3.4 million subscribers on his vlog channel and on his main channel he has 5 million. He is also British and has a huge following all around the world.
3. Zoe Sugg
Zoe Sugg goes by Zoella on YouTube and she is the girlfriend of Alfie Deyes. She is a beauty, fashion and DIY blogger and vlogger. She has been on the cover of Seventeen in the U.S. and Cosmo in the U.K., amongst others. Zoe Sugg also has several merchandise items and even wrote her own book, Girl Online, that can be found in bookstores across the world. Her vlog channel MoreZoella has 4 million subscribers and her main channel Zoella has 11 million subscribers. She is one of the top YouTube stars.
4. Joe Sugg
The brother of Zoe is also a YouTuber. On his vlog channel, he tends to prank his YouTuber roommate, Caspar Lee. His channels combined have over 10 million subscribers.
5. The Shaytards
A family who went from struggling with money and using food stamps to making millions from YouTube. Father Shay Carl Butler documents his life through the lens. They have five kids and over 4 million subscribers to their YouTube channel. They are family goals.
These vloggers and YouTubers have had a great success just by filming their lives through a lens and taking a camera wherever they go. If you need a little pick-me-up and a reason to smile, go watch their videos. It is the perfect medicine for any bad day!
