We all have our favorite YouTubers. From SuperWoman to Jenna Marbles, these YouTubers take up hours of our lives at a time. Some are more popular than others but nonetheless what we come back for is usually the person rather than the content of the video itself. The four YouTubers I am about to recommend are being recommended because of the amount of personality they bring to their videos. They are thankful to their subscribers and are interactive in very unique ways with their fans. So, anyone looking to procrastinate a little longer from their work, check out a few (or all) of the channels below.
Eat Your Kimchi
Favorite Video(s): Korean Spam, Coffee Prince Round 2: Hipsters in the Woods, Issues with the Korean Drama Industry
Simon and Martina Stawski are probably my two favorite YouTubers out there. The pair have been married for eight years and began their channel after moving to Korea and becoming English teachers. They post informing videos about Korean culture, food, and more. Through them I have learned more about Korea then I probably would have ever known without them. They have sparked my interest in a different part of the globe through their FAP FAP’s (Food Adventure Program For Awesome People) as well as their WTF's (Wonderful Treasure Finds). While living in Korea they have also had the opportunity to travel globally and share those experiences. They are not only my favorite YouTubers because of how they’ve taught me to appreciate another culture but also because they extend their rich sense of family to their fans. They have spent seven years in Korea and now plan to move to Japan and continue their channel there. I am very excited to see what new things they share on Youtube and wish the lovable couple the best of luck in their journey.
(P.S. If you’re truly not interested in learning about another culture then at the very least you should be watching their videos to get a glimpse of their adorable pets, Dr. Meemersworth and Spudgy!)
DashieGames
Favorite Video(s): OUTLAST [WHISTLEBLOWER] [DLC] and THIS B#TCH IS AN X-MEN YALL! [LIFE IS STRANGE] [#01]
Are you into games? Are you a poor college student who can’t afford those games? Fear not! While there are other gameplay channels out there like PewDiePie, Dashie provides content just as hilarious and entertaining as anyone else. I watch gameplays not just for the games but for the people playing them. Dashie enjoyable commentary on his gameplays has gained him over 2 million subscribers on Youtube. Dashie edits and releases videos on his game channel nearly every day while simultaneously producing content on his two other channels, DashieXP and DashieXP2. I personally recommend watching Dashie play any horror game because the reactions he gives never disappoints. Just remember to turn down your volume! Also make sure to check out his comedy sketches on his channel DashieXP.
Markiplier
Favorite Video(s): SHARKS CAN FLY!! | Stranded Deep - Part 1, WARNING: SCARIEST GAME IN YEARS | Five Nights at Freddy's - Part 1, World's Quietest Let's Play
Markiplier aka Mark has run an extremely popular gameplay channel since 2012 which continues to produce videos daily. Like Dashie, he has a lively personality that cares deeply about his subscribers. Mark has run many charity live streams, donating to charities such as Doctors Without Borders. Whenever Mark reaches a new subscriber milestone he posts down to earth videos thanking his subscribers for their support. His Five Nights at Freddy’s gameplay gained him over 40 million views on a single video and his own place in the 2015 Youtube Rewind. Mark was the first channel that got me into watching gameplay's and he can do the same for many others. I recommend Mark to anyone who loves gaming.

Favorite Video(s): DIY Felt Easter Bunny - Man Vs. Pin - Pinterest Project #52 and DIY Glow-in-the-Dark Cotton Candy, CORINNE VS PIN #18, Edward Cotton Candy Hands
Although I’ve actually just come across this channel myself, I find it absolutely wonderful! Rob and Corinne produce wonderful segments in which they take on pins they find on Pinterest and see just how legit they are. They give you answers to questions you might have about pins by doing all the work for you! Man vs Pin and Corinne vs Pin are just two segments this wonderful channel has to offer. They’ve recently begun a new segment called HackJob which so far has proved to be very promising. I really hope to become more familiar with their channel in the future.
