1. You got all the good genes.
The amount of times I've said "I do NOT look like him!" is staggering. Even if we maybe, possibly, sometimes, from the right angle, occasionally look a bit alike.
2. You can get along with anybody… but you don't.
Since you're younger, you got all the adorable, cheek-pinching charm. Since you're siblings, that doesn't mean you get along any better.
3. Everything is a competition.
Cleaning your room, washing the dishes, making a sandwich… they're all practically Olympic sports. If you don't race to the car after calling shotgun, what's the point of going anywhere?
4. You know all of the gossip about all of the family and friends.
Anything they know, you know. And they know everything because they're older. *eye roll*
5. You know that someone always has your back.
At the end of the day, after the fighting, the yelling, the one-upping, you know who you can always turn to. They don't tell the important secrets, they'll never let anyone (else) hurt you, and they're a sucker for their little sibling, so you can get away with almost anything. And that's why being the younger sibling is the best. (But don't tell them that.)
