5 Best and Worst Black Friday Stories

As I was looking for inspiration through refinery29, I found an article that talked about different stories people had shared with them about their worst and best stories of Black Friday. Now we all know that Black Friday is always the day after Thanksgiving, and it's when the biggest sales of the year go on for either the whole day or a couple of hours. But, during these hectic hours people show their true colors. So just to make all of you laugh I thought I'd share with you guys some of their funny stories and laughs.

1. "One time, I was at Target on Black Friday and someone in front of me in line paid for their TV with two huge plastic jugs of change. It took forever because the cashier had to count it out it was something like $200 paid for in quarters, and people were so divided. Half the line was pissed, and half thought this person had totally won Black Friday."

2. "I was at the mall with my sister, and we were packing up our car when a frazzled couple with a TON of bags came up to us. They said they would give us $20 if we drove their stuff home for them because their car was full. We agreed but realized on the way to their house we totally could have driven off with it, they didn't ask our name or anything! But of course we delivered it and loved that we actually 'made' money on Black Friday."

3."My friends from college and I used to go to stores on Black Friday and take people's Starbucks orders from line. We made some money, but it was also really fun spreading holiday cheer!"

4. "I went to Macy's at 2a.m with my then boyfriend and his stupid friends my junior year of high school. I got mad that he was only paying attention to the xbox games instead of me, so I walked home on the freeway. I broke up with him as soon as I got home."

5. "I remember when I was little and not allowed to do Black Friday with my mom, so she would go with my grandma, and every year they would bring me back a snow globe from JCpenney."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
