If you have a older sister, you can understand the tempestuous relationship that goes along with it. Some days, she is the most amazing person in the world, and other days you can't stand her. That all goes along with the sibling relationship but you will never find another down to earth, loving girl who would never leave your side even is she had the chance too. That is why she is my sister but also my best friend for life.
1. She knows how to keep you happy.
Nobody knows you like she does, she knows exactly how to pick you back up after a break-up or even just a bad day. She will do whatever to make sure your happy even if it means not leaving your side for days on days and buying you things just to see you smile even the slightest bit. She will always be your source of happiness.
2. She's protective of you.
When she tells you that she doesn't like your friend or the new guy you brought home, she isn't trying to be annoying, she's looking out for you. Which also means you look out for her too, and only want the best for each other even if it means giving the cold hard truth sometimes.
3. Age is just a number.
Whether she's 25 or 13 you don't care, you will still tell her about drama that is going on, and she will tell you about the mean girl who stole a crayon from her 64 Crayola pack. It will never be weird to hang out together and see a movie. You flaunt each other around like a trophy and love the time spent together.
4. She's the best drinking buddy on the planet.
I went out with my sister for the first time on our recent vacation, it honestly was one of the best nights of my life and i'm glad it was spent with her. I think it's important to have those shared moments, its meaningful but at the same time a wild ride. You will share those memories for a life time and will always be the best throwback Thursday.
5. She's your partner in crime.
No matter where you are or what your doing, you guys will make the best of what you got and turn it into a good time. Whether your at an airport or even a family dinner, you joke around like no tomorrow, forgetting your out in public sometimes.
6. She gives the best compliments.
You will never take a compliment more to heart then when it comes from your sister. It's like a "Wow, Omg really? You mean that?" moment, you will remember it for a lifetime and make sure they never live it down.

We can all admit that there has been a time in our lives when we were afraid of losing or creating distance from our friends, and it sucks. BUT thankfully when you have a sister you will never have to worry about that, she will always be there to annoy and love.
There's actually a lot of drama that goes down about choosing your maid of honor. Having a sister is a blessing because you never have to deal with any of that, even though no matter what I couldn't see anyone else taking on that role other than her.
When your younger you really don't have someone to look up to besides family members, and your big sister is most likely one of them. But as some people progressively get older, they decide to look at athletes or singers as their role models but to this day, I still look at her.
10. She taught you how to drive.
Yep, she took life threatening chance to let you take over the wheel and teach you the basics only because she didn't want Dad too, and truth be told , that is more terrifying on your end. But she's the reason why you passed and are on the roads and you couldn't be more grateful. Now it's your turn to drive her everywhere.
