There have been a million articles about being the mom of the friend group. The friend that take cares of everyone when they're sick or hungover or they got a bad grade. Well if there's a mom, then there is definitely a child of the friend group as well and they deserve to be talked about to.
1. You call all your friends Mom.
Any time you need something you're calling your mom, but not your real one. You have a mom for everything. The person who makes you do your homework, the person who takes care of you when you're drunk and also the person who makes you call your mom on important holidays and to remind you that you are loved.
2. You're never on time.
Let's face it, without having parents to tell you, you forget everything and everywhere you have to be. Setting an alarm never occurs to you or using your calendar app for anything.
3. You forget everything.
Your reminder app is completely irrelevant because you won't remember anyway. Everyone has to text you to remind you that you have stuff coming up, especially stuff that doesn't involve you because then there's no chance in you remembering.
4. You're told to grow up.
Almost daily this is an occurrence. You have the maturity of a six-year-old and everyone knows it. You're always the one to do a dare even when it could put your life in danger, and you never think of the repercussions for anything.
5. Outfit confused.
You never know the right attire for an event. You'll show up to formal in a crop top, and a social event in a dress. People have to text you to remind you to put on rights or heels or jeans with no rips because it's not appropriate.
All in all, you're still a child at heart, and as much as everyone complains they're still envious. Growing up is the worst, so stay golden as long as possible.
