Before you assumed they fell of the face of the Earth, you've probably heard a song or two. It was catchy, got stuck in your head, then eventually added the tune to your playlist. You listened to it over and over again, but a few months later something else caught your ear and you moved on. There was obviously something you liked about them to begin with, so why not give them another shot? Here are five of those artists that you should put back on your playlist and go see live.
1. Matt Nathanson
You probably know Matt from his hits like, "Car Crash", "Come On Get Higher" and "Faster". They appear on the radio and all of a sudden, he vanishes. He's been a pop artist since the nineties and put out nine albums that keep his fans going. Every single one of his albums rocks, but a few songs on each album will definitely make you become a lifelong fan. The best part is? He's human. Almost every concert Matt tells stories, meanings behind songs and makes you laugh. He's a down to earth type of guy and definitely won't be bored.

2. Hanson
Everybody knows "MMMbop" and if you don't, I'm not really sure what planet you live on or you probably were born in the late two thousands. Hanson had a bunch of hits in the late nineties, that you probably stuck in your CD player everyday. Once they left their record label and joined a new one, they weren't happy with the musical direction they were told to go in. So they formed their own label and started doing everything themselves. Throughout their career, they have put out nine albums. The best part about their shows is that they play all hits and gems throughout the last almost twenty years. They still have a strong fan base, so all of their shows are filled with energy and positive vibes.
Songs You Need To Listen To: "And I Waited", "Fired Up", "Save Me From Myself", "Already Home", "Dancing In The Wind", "When You're Gone", "Tonight", "Make It Out Alive" and "Get The Girl Back".
3. Gavin DeGraw
"I Don't Want To Be" was his first hit. After that, things went pretty well for Gavin and he had quite a few hits on the radio. As time went on, things calmed down for him, even though he still got radio play. Gavin has high energy at every show and comes out with great music every single record he puts out. He doesn't get much recognition anymore though, even though he has five albums to show. He is also a down to earth guy. You can tell he really appreciates his fans whenever he's on stage or saying hi to you backstage.
Songs You Need To Listen To: "I Have You To Thank", "Medicate The Kids", "Sweeter", "Every Little Bit, "Overrated", "Finest Hour", "Everything Will Change", "Run Every Time" and "Radiation".
4. Melissa Etheridge
"Come To My Window" was one of her biggest hits. She was so popular when she first came out and then things kind of just calmed down for her. She is still very successful, full of energy and talented after twelve albums. Melissa gets personal at all of her shows and makes it an intimate night. She's just not some performer on stage, trying to make a buck. She takes the time to connect with her fans and put on a great show. The awesome thing is that she also constantly switches instruments on stage for different songs. As time moved forward, she has proved her talent and success by putting out more albums, doing more shows and creating songs that benefit great causes.

5. Tyler Hilton
Tyler really got recognition by appearing on the show, "One Tree Hill" as Chris Keller. When the show became a hit, everybody searched who Tyler Hilton was and found out he was a musician. He's only put out five albums in all the years he's been an artist, but he has a unique voice that it's worth the listen. He gets personal at shows and the venue's fit no more than five hundred people. It makes it a really intimate experience, that it's definitely an enjoyable show without all the chaos of fans.
