Throughout life we come into contact with hundreds, maybe even thousands of different people and most of them are very temporary. In other instances, we are lucky enough to develop a bond with some of these people, and have a meaningful relationship, whether it's just being friends, more than that, or the unfortunate occurrence of crossing paths with someone that you genuinely dislike.
1. The straightforward, sarcastic one.
Whether we'd like to acknowledge or not, a lot of our friends try to preserve our feelings, but this individual won't. This person is going to tell it like it is, and you may not take them seriously at first, but once you get to know them you'll be able to see how brutally honest they are. This person is the one that will give you a very harsh reality check at times, and it may suck at the moment, but they're going to keep you on track, or, at least, let you know where you stand in relationship to your goal.
2. The "baby."
This is the person that would even consider themselves the most innocent one, and sometimes, we need that. We all need a reminder that in life, sometimes living simpler and not getting ourselves into the situations that we're in could be the better choice. This person also allows you to have someone to give advice to, have them learn from your experiences, so when they call you at what they believe is in their worst state, you can get them out of whatever situation they could be in. The last thing you want is for someone you care about to suffer through the tough times you did, and this person allows you to share your knowledge and experience because really, who else is going to listen?
3. The positive one.
No matter what age you are, you need someone who is able to see the good in everything. This person's life may not be the best, but they have made the best with whatever life has given them. This person will remind you that you have to take life day by day, and stay focused one what you want to achieve. He/she is also a good person to turn to when you don't know where to turn to because they are generally very good at spinning every situation into something good, because every experience in life is a lesson, and you have to take what you learn and move forward.
4. The comedian.
Laughter is the best medicine, genuinely. Everyone wants someone in their life that can make them laugh, whether it's on purpose or it's just because life can get the best of them. A lot of times this person is the one who gets into situations that would only happen to them. Life likes to throw the oddest things at them, and they make the weirdest things happen with it.
5. The storyteller.
This person, like the comedian, has some of the weirdest life experiences. You will learn a lot about this person, and you will learn plenty of life lessons from this person. This person exists in every group of people, and always has a lot to say. A lot of times this person has some of the worst luck, the craziest things happen, and the stories are all over the board; some stories are hilarious, but others are absolutely terrifying, but they all have a life lesson hidden in them somewhere.
