Finals week often brings out people's true colors. Here are a few types of college students to look out for:
Type 1: The Studier.
This person can always be found in the library, secluded from everyone and hidden among the stacks of books. They constantly have their eyes glued to textbooks and notes preparing for the biggest final of the year. Although they don’t seem stressed, they’re slowly going insane. They’re known for power naps on the floor of the library and quiet sobbing.
Type 2: The Procrastinator.
This student will be found in any common area probably not working and still wearing their pajamas. They will typically panic the day their essay is due because it’s ten pages and they only have an introduction. They are extremely good at navigating social media and using citation machines. They often pull all-nighters and drink mainly caffeine.
Type 3: The Wiz Kid.
This person is the most hated of all. They’ve been studying chapter-by-chapter every week since syllabus week. They are always offering their knowledge when nobody wants it and bragging about how ready they are for the final exam. Everything comes easy to them and they excel at test-taking. They live for finals week.
Type 4: The Zen Master.
This student is probably the most relaxed individual on campus. They can be found lying in the grass reading a book or playing guitar. They spread positivity by saying “hi” to everyone they see. This student has probably just handed in all their tests and will be stoned until the day they leave campus. They love the atmosphere of coffee shops and wear cargo shorts and Birkenstocks.
Type 5: The Cycler.
This student is the most common type and can be seen everywhere. They alternate between studying and watching Netflix. They are most known for studying for seven hours straight and then passing out on their notes for two hours. They don’t have a study schedule but are determined to pass their tests.
