We like to do things the easy way. Or the fast way. And when it's the fast and easy way, then that's going to be what we do. From beauty to hair to baking, life can be easier with just a few simple changes. I've put together a few "life hacks" to try in the next few weeks, if you haven't already.

1. Dry shampoo.

OK, so it's not for everyone, but dry shampoo can really get you that extra day or two without washing your hair. And if you "train" your hair, you can put shower caps to use and only wash your hair once a week or so.

2. Play baking "games."

If you're making a batch of cookies but also need to clean your house, take the eight minutes it takes to bake the cookies to get little parts of your house cleaned up. It really makes a huge difference.

3. Invest in BB Cream.

There are BB Cream options from almost all makeup brands, drugstore or not. However, being willing to experiment and spend money on finding the perfect BB Cream for you can help make your morning routine much faster in the long run.

4. Actually clean up after the messes you make...

...as you make them. I know it feels like you're wasting your time in the moment, but those couple of seconds it takes to put a dish in the dishwasher or to put your shoes in your room will save you minutes later on.

5. Use cleaning methods that get the job done over time.

One example would be that putting vinegar in a bag and putting it around your shower head overnight allows for the grime to come off without a long scrub session.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
