Going Greek at your university is always a tough decision. There are so many choices, so many different dynamics, philanthropies, social events and dues where you could possibly be unsure of what the right decision is. Well look no further! This article will help you choose your right Greek Organization!

1. Take the first step...and go through recruitment!

Whether you are going through Formal Recruitment, or a selective recruitment event in a non-formal recruitment semester, go check out your campus' recruitment. You will never know what your potential sisterhood has in store for you until you go see the events!

2. Find the sisterhood that is right for you.

The best part about going through a sorority recruitment is seeing who your future sisters could be. There is nothing more exciting than finding a place where you belong!

3. Philanthropy, philanthropy, philanthropy!

Usually this is what gets women motivated to go Greek. What does your organization fund raise for? Is it Breast Cancer Education and awareness? Is it the Make-a-Wish foundation? It is beautiful to see what kind of work women can do for those in need. It is a decision solely up to you, philanthropy can give you that extra push to ensure that you are joining an organization for the right reason.

4. Look back into your family history!

You might already know family who went Greek, but you never know if you will find out you're a legacy, where women joined the same organization as you! There is a certain bond family members have when sisters, or a mom and daughter duo join a sorority. It is a special bond that you can share with blood, that's pretty legit.

5. Look for the organization's presence on campus!

Do you see the sorority's members on campus at random times in their letters? Do you see them tabling in the union building? What about in competitions that the school puts on during homecoming? The women are right under your nose, and of course are peers in your classes. You never know when a potential sister will be a great lab partner for your science lab out of chance!

One thing is for sure, don't be intimidated to go through recruitment. Go through it! You find your best friends, your future roommates, and your future bridesmaids! Whether you are a freshman new to college, or an older student looking for the right bond to graduate with. It is an experience you will never regret!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
