Five Times You'll Miss Your Dog In College

For collegiate dog-owners, leaving your dog at home can be really hard. Most dorms do not allow pets, so chances are you’ll have to leave behind your furry friend as you embark on your next educational journey.

Here are five times you’ll miss your dog in college:

1. Move-in day.


Alright, you’ve got everything – your toothbrush, pillowcase – wait, where’s my dog? *cue the five stages of grief*

2. First day of class. Every semester.

Who else I’m I supposed to talk about my day with? Humans?

3. When you drop food on the floor.


Am I supposed to clean this? Where is my walking food-vacuum?

4. After a bad day.

There’s no one better to comfort you after a hard day than man’s best friend.

5. After a good day.

And of course, you want to share your good days with them, as well.

Who am I kidding? The time you will miss your dog is ALWAYS. Dogs are awesome. One of the best parts of visiting home is getting to see your favorite fluffy friend.
