These are supposed to be the "best four years" of our lives, so why do some days feel like a s**t storm?

These are supposed to be the "glory days," so why do some days it feels like the world is just laughing, plotting revenge against you for whatever karma you deserve, but forgot you owe?

College is fun and all, but some days suck popsicles.

Here are five times every college student totally agrees with:

1. Hectic weeks.

No exams, no quizzes, no homework, no nothing—life is good! Then...BOOM!! Here hits the mother-load, and you fail everything. And don't talk to me about time management...that has nothing to do with this.

2. Late night cravings

You're hungry. You're thirsty. You want milk. But it's 2 a.m., you're walking back from the gym— everyone is still up because, you know, college....but no dining room is open, no store is open. Out of luck, I guess.

3. Terrible sleeping habits

In high school, we would get up at 6 a.m., but here in college that 9 a.m. class just gets you f**ked up. Your night self never listens to your morning self, and your morning self begs it to. For once, don't go to bed at 4 a.m.! Again, not our fault though, it's college's.

4. So. Many. People.

Sometimes, all you need is alone time, but on a college campus, you can never get it. No matter where you turn, there are people. People, people, roommates, professors, people, students....the only thing you have to yourself are your thoughts and even those get interrupted more often than not.

5. Lack of free time

There's never time to just breathe. That could be a good thing, but sometimes, you do just want to get family sized cheddar Ruffles chips and watch Netflix and sleep...and not feel guilty about it.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
