"Lemonade" was the HBO special that had everyone talking. We weren’t sure what Queen Bey could be working on, but at last, we have our answer. Last week Beyoncé released her visual album “Lemonade,” and it was everything and more.

As a Beyoncé fan myself, it is hard to see the queen doing wrong, so I am a little biased, but this visual album took viewers on an emotional roller coaster. Beyoncé has never been one to open up about her personal life, so, for her to make this album that some people are linking to her real life problems with husband Jay Z is a little mind blowing. This album was packed with emotions that sang to all women that have ever been done wrong by any man. This album also gave everyone an insight to the pain that is caused by cheating. Some of the lessons we learn from "Lemonade" are also ones that we can apply to situations other than love. Here are five of the lessons we take away from “Lemonade."

1. It's okay not to be okay

“Nothing else ever seems to hurt like the smile on your face when it’s only in my memory” – Beyoncé: "Pray you catch me"

Beyoncé breaks down so many feelings in this visual album. She teaches us that even the queen has moments when she feels lost and that at the worst of times, we don’t always have to be strong.

2. It's okay to forgive

“Spend my life in the dark for the sake of you and me only way to go is, skin thick, too tough” – Beyoncé: "Love Drought"

Forgiveness is hard to do, especially when you’re trying to forgive someone that did you wrong. Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” taught us that just because you forgive someone does not mean you’re weak.

3. Just because you're angry doesn't make you crazy

“What’s worse, lookin’ jealous or crazy?” – Beyoncé: "Hold up"

For some reason, when someone is angry, specifically women, we tend to look crazy. Being angry for good reasons does not mean we need to be labeled as crazy. Sometimes we just need a minute to lose ourselves, but as long as you pull it back together, all is well.

4. Sometimes you have to remind yourself who you are

“Suicide before you see this tear fall down my eyes” – Beyoncé: "Sorry"

After the worst of times, when you pick yourself up, you begin to realize again just how important you are. Nothing or no one should ever make you feel any less that what you are. Sometimes we forget our self-worth, but “Lemonade” just reminded us that we are enough.

5. You will recover

“I had my ups and downs, but I always find the inner strength to cool myself off. I was served Lemons, but I made lemonade.” - Beyoncé: "Freedom" ft. Kendrick Lamar

Through everything that we go through in our lives, it is hard to stay positive and see the light at the end of the tunnel, but everything will work out in the end. Queen Bey reminds us that even in the toughest times in our lives we will come out at the end and we will recover.

Beyoncé’s album is the album any woman that has ever been cheated on can relate to and any man that has ever cheated on a woman can learn from. Although this visual album takes us through Beyoncé’s rumored infidelity scandal, this visual album teaches us about self-worth, forgiveness, finding happiness, and that Beyoncé is still Queen.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
