It is easy to take your roommate for granted in college, but truly, these people are always there for you. Whether it was a beautiful mistake or planned, having a best friend for a roommate is the best, so make sure to take time and say thank you.
1. Thanks for letting me sometimes be messy
I know you're the cleanest person in the universe and don't like anything out to place. You push me to be cleaner, but you can tell when I haven't had the greatest day and let me be my messy self. I will try and pick up my clothes and occasionally vacuum if you let me have the messy day once in a while.
2. Thanks for letting me borrow your clothes, makeup, shoes, etc.
Your closet has become an extension of mine and without it, I would not look as put-together as I pass myself off as. Your stuff has been there for me in times of emergency or when I am tired of my own. Thank you for always letting me borrow your things because without them, I would most certainly be a trainwreck.
3. Thanks for late-night talks
I swear you know me better than myself sometimes and vice-versa. You let me vent for two hours about how I messed up and texted that guy when I shouldn't have and without those talks, I think I would go a little crazy. You keep me sane, even if it means talking until 5 A.M. and going to class with crazy dark circles under my eyes.
4. Thanks for keeping me grounded
Being in college can be tough sometimes, but you're always there to remind me why I am here. I know I can count on you to talk me down from a terrible exam, to a great night out, to pretty much anything else. You are there to remind me to have the utmost confidence when I need it and to stop being so cocky other times.
5. Thanks for being my best friend
I know I can always count on you when I have a rough day and need to watch Netflix, or when I need to have a great night out. You're my number one cheerleader and there to make the best memories while we are in college. Thanks for always making adventures with me and laughing so hard we pee our pants, I don't know what I would do without you.
