Our generation has come up with a million different terms that about half of us use, but don't really understand. Youth culture is continuously creating different slang terms that catch on like wildfire. The amount of Instagram captions, Facebook comments, and texts that incorporate 'on fleek' or 'slidin into those DMs like...' on a daily basis is very normal. There used to be a simpler time when people would say G2G or LOL but, nowadays, we have come up with these confusing and creative slang phrases that even the smartest people have to decipher.
1. On Fleek
What is on fleek? This is a question that I ask myself every day. Actually I thought fleek only referred to eyebrows and if your eyebrows were fleekish enough. But, in reality, fleek actually means lookin' good. In other words, whatever is on fleek is on point. Your hair is totally on fleek, right now.

2. Salty
No, I am not talking about being salty from the ocean water. I'm salty because the Starbucks barista spelled my name wrong, again.
3. Bae
Baby, bb, babe, bae -- it's all the same.
Chipotle is bae (aka my lover or all I need in this life).
4. AF
I'm hungry af. Af means as f*ck. Instead of saying I am sooooo hungry, you can simply say I'm hungry af (much simpler and saves time).
5. Slidin' into your DMs like…
Urban Dictionary defines this as, “When you send a direct message to someone on Twitter confidently and smoothly." You are just sneakin into the pic confidently and smoothly. Just casually slidin into bae's dms like...
Filter and face better be on point.
