In a world that people constantly have phones and tablets in their hands this may seem like a no brainer but I come across websites everyday that are not responsive to different devices. With nearly 40,000 searches being performed on Google every second and nearly 56% of that being mobile traffic why wouldn’t you take the time to make your site mobile compatible? 2. Clear Call to Action
A clear call to action could be the difference between a user bouncing or being engaged. What does a call to action look like? It could be in the form of buttons, slide ins, or pop ups. The purpose should be clear and concise. What is the purpose of this button and where will it take me? This should be question a user shouldn’t have to ask. I like to use both buttons for their appeal but also pop ups to grow my email list. Notice in the picture below you can customize your call to action to say whatever you want!

If you take a quick glance up you will notice some little black icons right below my call to action. These are my social media badges and they are essential for you to have on your website! When a person becomes vested in your business they may want to keep up with you and what better way than social media? Having these buttons gives a user quick and easy access to keep up with your business. Social media badges also help you connect to users because many people feel better about interacting with a business through social media. Fun Fact: 50% of consumers have bought a product because of a recommendation on social media.
4. A Testimonial Page
Who better to help sell your product or service than those who have already done so? Having a place to not only submit testimonials for you to use but also a place to post the best ones! Having a happy customer that is willing to give a testimonial about not only how great your product or service is but what it can do for them as an individual is invaluable. People don’t like to be sold to so a testimonial is a great way to show the value of your business without having to hardsell anyone.
5. A Blog
Something that many business haven’t jumped on yet is the blog bandwagon. Blogging is a cost effective way to help build your brand’s online presence. Paired with a little bit of inbound marketing a blog can be a powerful tool that drives sales, generates leads, and keeps customers coming back for more.
