I just have to say this outright, I love doing retail on Black Friday and throughout the rest of the holiday season. I’m not being sarcastic when I say that either. I freaking love the energy of the atmosphere as people go about shopping for their holidays. Sure I do miss being able to be with my folks even we all live in three different areas that are hundreds of miles apart. So in honor of all the chaos, mayhem and pandemonium that is Black Friday, I’ve put together this lovely list showing the many things that I think make Black Friday well black…and blue, and even red sometimes.


1. The pre-Black Friday camping.


2. People crowding the door just before opening.


3. The mad rush the minute the doors open.

4. People rushing for the deals.


5. Fighting over the last of whatever.
