If you’re someone who constantly feels the cold, you’re currently enduring your least favorite time of the year. Short days, dark evenings and freezing drafts are everywhere and there’s nothing you can do about it.

The girl who wears sweaters and long-sleeves when it’s 70-degrees outside and can’t sleep without about five blankets on her bed. As I sit here typing, casually rocking two sweatshirts, sweatpants and fuzzy socks and sitting in bed with several blankets. And sometimes, living the frozen life can be a challenging thing. So, without further ado, here are five things that all girls who deal with constantly being chilly want you to know.

The struggle is definitely real.

1. Air conditioning is your mortal enemy.

WHO turned that on?

2. Carrying enough chapstick to open up your own CVS.

But anything beats chapped, cold lips

3. You’ll never have enough blankets.

You sleep with numerous amounts of blankets because you will never be warm enough. Heated blankets are always key.

4. You own a drawer or two of fuzzy socks.

Who doesn’t LOVE fuzzy socks? We all do, but especially us girls who are always cold because they keep our toes nice and warm and cozy. We would not be able to survive without fuzzy socks, because normal socks will turn our little piggies into icicles.

5. Because God help anyone who comes in contact with your icy death fingers.

PLEASE! PLEASE LET ME WARM THEM UP ON YOU!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
