Before I start I want to point out how grateful I am for having a bathroom, and for having a house. I am lucky to have parents who would bend over backwards to make sure we were OK. Parents who, although they have nothing much themselves, do everything in and beyond their power, for us. I am, always have been, and always will be, eternally grateful to them.
My house is over 100 years old and, back then, having one bathroom was normal. But I don't know how they did it, and I don't know how people who don't live alone survive with one bathroom! Let alone a family of four with three people with lactose intolerance. You get the picture. Here are five struggles only people that live with one bathroom will understand.
1. Peeing with the door open.
2. Company when showering.
I've had conversations with my family about my day while in the shower and they are doing their thing. It's normal. My family also loves my shower concerts.
3. Brushing teeth parties.
4. Shower line-up.
My sister and I used to get into fights about who will shower first until i called it for eternity. Oops.
