Oh sweet, sweet summertime, you are finally here and students everywhere are praising the sweet Lord above for your arrival.
Summer is the optimal time for rest and relaxation, a break from the educational world, a time to travel and simply a time to do whatever the heck you want whenever the heck you want. Most students of all ages begin to look forward to summer starting right after Christmas break. When it finally arrives the stages of summer go a little like this.
1. Pure Laziness
Stage one of summer is composed of nothing but Netflix, sleeping and eating. The stress of finals is finally over, and the only responsibility you have is to keep breathing... and to maybe shower every three days or so. But the moral of the story is, naps are your life.
2. The Social Butterfly
After you have awoken from your great slumber, you are a new person. The stress of the last nine months of your life has been removed from your mind and the bliss of summer becomes real. You decide to hit up all your friends starting from age three and make up for all the lost time that school has caused. Social is now your middle name and making friends is your game.
3. The Family Vacations

Summer is so highly anticipated that it is built up to seem like this never ending adventure at all times. Well, this rarely ever occurs and boredom seems to set in about mid-June. Your friends are on vacation, you finished your Netflix series and you have done every activity known to man in your small town. You sit on your couch, look in your fridge, talk to your dogs and then repeat. This boredom makes many question their sanity

Summer is arguably the greatest time of the year. However, sometimes it tends to be boring, lazy and miserable because you miss your friends.
