The few years you're in college are some of the best years. An excellent time for finding yourself and making lifetime friends—college is the perfect place to grow. But what happens at the end of those carefree years when you're nearing graduation? Here are some of the feelings you might encounter when you progress toward that big day.
1. Excitement
You've finally made it! Your graduation papers are being processed and it's an amazing feeling knowing you're almost out of here. Say sayonara! to late night studying in the library and essays galore!
2. Uncertainty
But what exactly do I want to do with my life? Now that the end is in sight, you might feel uncertain of what the future may hold. Is grad school for me? Can I even get a job with this degree? Do I have to move back in with my parents? These are all questions that suddenly feel all too real.
3. Regret
But maybe I really do like free pizza and ramen noodles. At this point, regret has kicked in and you're really questioning if this whole "life" thing is really all that great. Pondering failing a class to stay with your friends another semester is totally normal.

4. Apprehension
Graduation is only a couple months away and you're nervous about getting the right classes and meeting all of the university requirements. And maybe you're secretly hoping you don't have enough, let's be honest. Cue in the furious job hunting and late night panic attacks.
5. Acceptance
The last stage is accepting the fact that you're about to earn your degree! You know, that thing you've been working on for like the last 3-5 years or so. Picking out what you'll wear, if you'll decorate your cap and attending all of the graduation meetings and festivals are just a few of the exciting things to look forward to in the months and weeks before graduation. College has been great, but now it's time to explore the real world outside of your university. Travel or go to grad school! That doesn't mean you have to forget all about your college, you'll probably be repping those colors at the gym for awhile.
